Watercolor Warm Mixtures

7 "warmer" (magenta-red-orange-brown-yellow) colors mixed using wet-in-wet and glazing techniques. Mixed on the palette, one can get some very vibrant reds and oranges. However, pigment pairs react quite differently with each other when mixed on the paper. Some colors are very active and spread heavily; others diffuse evenly when charged into another color. Some cause backruns when glazed over, too. Made this chart to reference which colors behave which ways; perhaps it will be of use to other painters, especially if you're not planning on using cadmiums!
